Babet Style Consultancy
Lizzie Edwards had always been interested in fashion and style, but fashion and style that are wearable and understated. She knew that she wanted to work with clothes in some way, and upon leaving school studied fashion at college.
After finishing her course she was approached by a model agency, and so begun a long career as a fashion model. She lived in London, Milan and Paris and travelled the world, having the privileged advantage of working with, and learning from, a wide variety of talented photographers, stylists, make-up artists, hairdressers, fashion designers, and magazines.
But her interest in fashion remained firmly in the ‘real world’ she was always being asked by friends and family to go shopping with them when they wanted advice on what to wear or buy, and she loved it and so she started Babet Style Consultancy.
She is fully trained in style and colour analysis and an associate member of AICI, the Association of Image Consultants International and regularly attends workshops and seminars in the UK and America.
The Babet approach
Lizzie believes style and shopping should be a fun and enjoyable experience. She works in an informal, but professional way, which means you feel comfortable and enjoy yourself. Having a personal stylist may seem like an extravagance, but when you look at the money you have wasted on clothes never worn or that didn’t make you feel great, can you really afford not to?
